Domestic courier charges, worked out in seconds
Parcel prices on WusoolX depend on two things: the zone and the chargeable weight. The zone is set by where the parcel travels: inside the same city, within the same region, or between regions. A base charge covers the first 5 kg, and each extra chargeable kg adds a set rate.
Chargeable weight is the higher of the actual weight and the volumetric weight. Volumetric weight is length × width × height in cm, divided by 5000. A light but large box is charged on its size, and a small heavy one on its weight. For example:
- A 50 × 40 × 30 cm box has a volumetric weight of 12 kg.
- If it weighs 7 kg, it is charged as 12 kg. If it weighs 15 kg, it is charged as 15 kg.
- A 1 kg document envelope falls within the base charge for the first 5 kg.
